Italy's exports to Kyrgyzstan hit a record high in May 2024, soaring 2200% since before russia's invasion of Ukraine. It's obvious where these goods are ending up—russia. Two years of this, and the EU keeps turning a blind eye...
Kyrgyzstan should suffer the same sanctions as ruZZistan and Italy should be answering unpleasant questions. That is if EU institutions were able of action without waiting for several years to see if the problem disappears on its own.
Any other strange trading patterns from other European countries? Would be amazed if the financial elites haven't diverted funds to their Russian buddies in the UK for instance.
Unfortunately Italy is not the only case… It’s a shame that both governments and companies treat this war not seriously 🤬 www.reuters.com/world/german...
Che vergogna!
As an Italian I’m very sorry to see that. Our government is definitely not doing enough to support Ukraine, and I apologize on behalf of all Italian people who support Ukraine 🙏🙏
