Between movies Del Toro and Beacham apologized for using a slur in the G-Danger's name. But then it's in the second movie anyway, probably because it was made without their involvement. I could only find Beacham's apology but I remember them both saying it. travisbeacham.tumblr.com/post/5821136...
It pisses me off so bad that they kept that part of the name in Pacific Rim 2.
