I've decided to glue the boot heel to hood heel, and then pour resin in around the toe to fill and add more adhesion! I'm going to also pour resin around the toe-box of the other hoofboot as well(this was always the plan, after gluing).
All right, we got one glued down and curing! I need to figure out how I'm going to fix the other. The boot-heel is off the hoof-heel by 0.5cm. I'm going use more resin as filler. Not sure if I want to add filler behind the heel, or under the toe.
We are getting closer to final assembly. One more coat of paint, then we attach the hooves to the boots, and then we attach the shoes to the bottoms of the hooves!

They're sanded, cleaned, hardware inserted, taped up, and ready for primer. Also made a little spray booth so I don't get paint all over my balcony. Hopefully the weather holds up this weekend and I can get at least one coat of primer down on the hooves.
The first hoof I've poured a few months ago had a lot of air bubbles in it. Attempting to fill in those air bubbles with a putty. Looks like I'm going to have to go over it a couple times. Hopefully we get the holes filled and sanded and then we can move on to painting.
This weekend's (Black one), fits exceptionally well. It's nice and tight and snug without any adhesive. Blue one is a bit loose, but still a great fit. Walked around a little bit, right calf cramped immediately. Lol on to filling, sanding, painting!
Ugh, had some leakage, luckily I was able to throw the c-clamp on there to squeeze the mold closed. I think I saved the pour, we'll have to see.
