Lost in the conversation about the "merits" of "talented" men creeping on young women is how whatever contributions they have made to the medium is completely drowned by all the contributions their creeping has impeded. Women creeped on by their mentors/idols often just quit their dreams, betrayed.
Congratulations, Sara!

World Central Kitchen brought essential food aid on the first boat to land in Gaza in nearly 20 years this week. Unlike certain other efforts, the food they're delivering is arriving safely & is culturally & religiously appropriate. If you've got funds to donate, they will use them well.
World Central Kitchen’s team in Gaza is offloading 200 tons of desperately needed food that arrived on our first maritime aid shipment to the region. Carried on the Open Arms vessel, the cargo is part of Operation Safeena, our effort to bring as much aid as possible to Palestinians by sea. We have provided more than 37 million meals to families in war-torn Gaza by land and air since first responding to the conflict. The opening of this maritime corridor will allow us to provide millions more meals.

Super pleased to get a notification for this article this morning. It's one of the things I'm most proud of writing, and it makes some pretty big claims about Tudor politics at Westminster. Thanks so so much to everyone who helped along the way- you're amazing. www.cambridge.org/core/journal...

I’m making two points, neither of which is any kind of claim about her private medical business. 1. This was a public relations disaster. 2. Royalty as an institution licenses public interest in the very bodies of royals (cf Kantorowicz etc) & this is hard to reconcile with the right to privacy.
4 years ago today, the WHO declared COVID a pandemic. Today, we will rightfully remember the tens of millions of people who have died. We must never forget. But we must also remember COVID is still killing, disabling, and excluding too many. We are still in a pandemic. We still need to act.
