Absolutely this. People who don’t live in overt obstructionism don’t realize that these laws get proposed and passed specifically so that conservatives have simple and direct ways to interrupt, obstruct, and frame community activism.

this is so much weird effort to solve a problem that doesn’t exist, they could just pass some law like “anyone who ever voted for a democrat may be sentenced to life in prison at the discretion of a judge” and then send the honorable crooked mcjudgy off to round up anyone with a pride flag etc
