it has a phenomenal combat engine but it absolutely takes you out of the RE vibe and makes you feel it was a then-Platinum b-side.

RE6 is absolutely the best version of Mercenaries. If you have the Mercenaries itch and have a pal that wants in too, it's absolutely worth your time. Mega knows :)
