Absolutely true. In Germany we have a law that requires sled dogs to look like sausages. Unfortunately, the dachshund are not really suited for the mountains. That's why in 2009 Sebastian Schnuelle won the Yukon Quest, but only came second in Iditarod behind Lance Mackey.
