I haven't been explaining anything, but a fun fact across the drawings is most that are a reference to a real animal or plant, that's labeled with its name, are native to Virginia. D. brevifolia, of the sundew family, is one of the smallest sundews.

I love LSOH but I've drawn Audrey II before, pitchers and fly traps are easy when thinking about carnivorous plants, but something like a Drosera is special. There are so many good plants out there if you know where to look and this one is tiny, easy to be missed, but has a lot of character
