534. ドールズ / Dolls (2002). I won't pretend to get everything that Kitano was doing here, but I love it. Soft, understated, & contemplative, this is an art film as much as it is a drama, & it's built on subtlety & finesse, but it's a gem of the quiet side of cinema, & easy on the eyes & ears at that.
