Even if you don't agree with such things (which really shouldn't matter since no-one asked for your opinion), how difficult is it to just be a polite member of society?

This reaction (started by Peterson) is so weird. 'I refuse to use the correct pronouns for trans people, and im willing to go to jail over it!'. Such a strange overreaction, reminds me of libertarians 'pay your taxes libertarian' 'why do you want to murder me stateist?'.

I live in the most backward, trumpy backwater and my coworker recently announced a change in name & pronouns. We all love her and suspected this was coming. Every MAGA person here is using the requested name & pronouns without complaint. If THEY can do it why can’t JKR?
