I’m a sucker for pick-up-and-deliver. We picked up Sail at PAXEast because we forgot to pack a small 2p game for ourselves. Fortunately hubby is great at learning games from rulebooks.

Sometimes I will pick up a rule book and it will seem like gibberish. Then months later we sit down to try learning it and it's *fine*. I definitely have to be in the mood to learn something, and sometimes would rather bake that into the play time itself instead of doing "homework" in advance.
