Oh, then you’ll really like Dahlia. That’s her whole thing. Her powers include telekinesis, psychometry, self-resurrection, and being able to see and hear ghosts. Her grandfather was a golden age superhero who went by the name “Mystifier”.
Black Dahlia is the middle child in a family of 8, so her parents don't pay much attention to her individually. She gets proper mentoring and parental guidance from the ghost of her grandfather. (2/2)
Moonlighter has something of a cold detachment from parenthood. Sameko is physically far stronger than him, so he doesn't worry about her getting hurt, and he's also not very attentive to her emotional state beyond "is she angry?" because her being angry can be dangerous. (1/2)
PayPal is updating their ToS to let themselves give your data to merchants starting in November and they're certainly banking on people not knowing to opt out, SO to opt out before they start: go to Settings > Data & Privacy > Manage shared info > Personalized shopping, and toggle that shit off
This reaches somewhat into spoiler territory, so I have to speak in broad strokes, but there is a character in the backstory of my setting who had to be neutralized because their refusal to compromise could have ended the world (it was the Cold War at the time).
Moonlighter is a vigilante with decades of experience (and injuries). He's broken lots of bones (his and others). Sameko's skeleton is cartilaginous, so by definition, she's never broken any of her bones. Black Dahlia's sternum is broken by a shotgun blast in her debut chapter (she gets better).
And since sales at Shelley’s short-sighted seashell shop are so shit, she’s had to shift strategies and sell something else. So what does Shelley sell? Sandals.
She’s doesn’t sell seashells by the seashore. The seashore is where she’s selling for sure, but shells are not what she’s selling. See, there’s too much supply and not enough demand when there’s so much of what she’s selling just lying in the sand.
B. C just seems mean, and A seems unlikely to win.
Somewhat unrelated, but the pose reminds me of the “Jeb Bush sweep” meme i.kym-cdn.com/photos/image...
