Not entirely true regarding algorithms - Discover is the "Main official" algorithm. IIRC it doesn't try to punish for use of links or certain keywords, and while likes and interactions do matter there, it doesn't try to promote engagement, it actually tries to show what a given user likes. [->]

There's a ton of algorithmic feeds (e.g. Furrylist's Hot), but there's also a lot of plain chronological feeds, including Following. The important thing is that you shouldn't need to obfuscate keywords ("c0mm", "k0fi"...) etc. Importantly, use hashtags, and interact with replies in a genuine way!
