Instead it's basically what if Ronald Reagan was a hybrid of Captain America and Superman.
The historical accuracy feels dubious at best and I can't imagine it talks about any of the bad things like the Iran contras, giving weapons to the Taliban, allowing cocaine to be smuggled into America, and ignoring the AIDS crisis. Oh and releasing countless people from mental hospitals.
The story is told from an old ex KGB spy who knows the entire life of Ronald Reagan and how this b-movie actor single handedly killed communism. Every detail about Ronald's life is this conservative fan fiction of overcoming all odds and living the American dream to spread it to all.
I went with an open mind for the Reagan biopic and walked out. It's the worst movie I've seen in 2024. Basically it's just turning a man into a superhero myth and taking shots at unions as well as anything else that has actually helped Americans. It's framed through the fall of communism.

So far it's been fun changing settings and seeing some of the stuff the camera on my new phone can do. The picture quality is such a massive improvement for me.
YouTube auto generated captions get downright wacky sometimes. Either that or this 80's Turkish movie was thinking way ahead of it's time.
