Ok TROP negativity incoming // I would have loved Galadriel’s character, had she not been Galadriel. Does that make sense? I think she’s perfect for her first age self, but this is the second age now, after mentorship by Melian in diplomacy. Yeah she’s younger, but she feels *too* young here.
omg TOTALLY agree, I have this issue with Elendil as well, it feels like they're totally different characters than who I feel they should be at this point in their lives
S2 was better in this regard I think, but the interpersonal dynamics with Galadriel/Gil-Galad/Elrond are still so frustrating. Pretty sure Galadriel is already among the oldest living beings in Middle Earth at this point barring maybe Cirdan?
I’m all for women having flaws! I love Earien and all her messiness! Galadriel just never hit because I have an image of her already, and her portrayal is way off. 😔 Also I hate Gil-galad treats her. High king or not, you don’t talk to your great aunt that way! Gil-galad is just so mean in general 😭
