Making headway today! Doing the character shading now, I might actually finish this week (assuming nothing crazy happens 🤞) #art

It's so frustrating trying to find a pharmacy to get the covid booster for my 6 yr old. The pediatrician doesn't have them, & the major grocery chains (in this case, Fred Meyer) say they have the ages 5+ but when I tried to make an appointment, I was told my child is ineligible. 🤦

Our kitty Roscoe now needs to go get an emergency CT scan tomorrow. So I am opening up for a few commissions. Pets, fav animal, furry, fantasy creature, cake topper or fav cartoon character. Send me a message or email me at wicked.sairah@gmail.com for a quote! And please share. :) thank you!

Hey US friends, you can get more free Covid tests from USPS now (takes just a few seconds, just put in your address). It’s kind of like the government giving us a water balloon for a house fire, but I’ll take advantage of anything free anyway. special.usps.com/testkits

Amazing. My mom and uncles are going through my grandpa's estate and came across this letter from an artist my grandparents commissioned. What is really wild to me is that it reads so very much like the correspondence I have with clients now. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

A letter from artist, Fred Machetanz dated January 2, 1968. In it, he briefly discusses his wife's illness, then goes on to explain the attached slide showing a painting in progress and describes it, as well as dimensions and price. My grandmother's handwriting is below, she's made a note the painting was later titled, "Arctic Splendor."
