#KillerHeat isn’t the worst detective thriller. But it’s among the most predictable which makes it entirely uninteresting.

Will & Harper is a terrific documentary about Will Ferrell and his friend Harper Steele, a trans woman, making a road trip across America. It’s warm, at times funny, and at times heartbreaking.

Animated features largely succeed or fail based on whether or not you believe the characters. Strong voice work by a star-studded cast lifts a story that doesn’t have many surprises. #TheWildRobot

What makes HBO’s Stopping The Steal such a fascinating documentary is that most of the people interviewed are Republicans. They give detailed insights and criticisms of Trump.

#TransformersOne is surprisingly good. Vast improvement over the last Transformers movie (the truly terrible Transformers: Rise of the Beasts). Interesting characters. Solid plot. Hallelujah.

#HisThreeDaughters feels like a play because 99% of it takes place in an apartment. It’s a well-acted drama about estranged siblings reunited by a father in hospice.

One of the fundamental problems is that every actor is way too beautiful to be considered “ugly.” This is an idea that may work in books but not in this film.

There’s not much new or interesting here in #UgliesNetflix. It’s targeted for a specific audience who loved the young adult book. However, I did enjoy Laverne Cox’s performance.

I know My Spy: The Eternal City is a “family” movie. But Good God, does it have to be this dumb? Seems like everyone is just there for the paycheck. Will say that the Stranger Things joke is solid.
