There are no centrists, just republicans in denial. I have *never* met a centrist who doesnt immediately cede to conservative talking points while offering up the most stringent resistance to agreeing with *any* aspect of a progressive one

Listening to the local news radio is a 180 from what you see online. Messages of "Free Palestine," "This is a holocaust," and "Stop the Genocide" are all being described as antisemitic hate speech. They are literally reporting it as messages of "holocaust" and "genocide" from deranged students.

it is amazing how the only reaction they can imagine is EVERYTHING radicalizing to the right. And them just condceding, triangulating to the right Almost as if self declared libs and centrists see only the right as legitimate or workable

It's all so vapid too because they'd switch their opinions like they did with student debt if Biden adopted the left's position.

Trump's "vermin" rhetoric is unprecedented in modern history but the reactionary centrist view is basically that he's over-reacting to a real threat. There's a huge difference between that and the (correct) view that *there is no threat to democracy from the left*

Centrists legit hate the left more than the right. They capitulate to and kiss the ass of the right wing. Centrists are responsible for the rise of every right-wing blowhard
