Some of the other coronaviruses have been around centuries or longer, so SARSCoV2 will probably hang on for generations and beyond to some extent.
I slightly misremembered the year as being 2021 rather than 2023, at the time it seemed they were saying that it was being considered to have moved to be a situation where there would be epidemics of particular variants, but it wasn't being considered a pandemic any longer.
This is being done for a lot of billing for various things, means that bills are rising relative to people's incomes.
There's also the issue of #policeshortage#courts#prisons, there is already the issue of people not being prosecuted, having sentences reduced or being released early because of a shortage of capacity.
That's partly the reason the limit is 80mg and not 50mg. It isn't approved of in the courts if someone is found to have had drinks before driving even if they are below the legal blood alcohol limit, can affect sentencing and the police can issue a warning.
