I feel like I’ve just discovered that I can pull off a backwards hat.. at the exact moment that I’ve aged out of wearing a backwards hat. - Dictated, but not read.
10 minute miniature scene using some cardboard packaging scraps. Reminds me of old claymation fantasy adventure films.

What are blue sky posts called? Is there a lingo yet? They aren’t “tweets”.. “posts” seems boring.. bluebs? Is it “skeets”? I keep seeing people writing that word. I’m out of touch! But this is all very exciting! I FEEL OLD AND YOUNG AT THE SAME TIME! Blueb ya later, skeeters!
This one made a real mess of my kitchen table. Bedside lamp in place of the sun, the statue is actually a plant pot (hollow head), and the rest is all styrofoam packaging from various purchases.. plus a Ferrero Rocher chocolate tower cover as a sci-fi dome pyramid.

This one, in the style of old sci-fi novel covers, is made from a Lindt chocolate Santa sarcophagus, vintage cardboard from an 8mm projector box, Christmas lights, and a piece of black construction paper with splatter/black hole paint.
Love to play with scale. The juxtaposition of miniature figures with the immensity of outer space, lights up my brain. These scenes are meant to take very little time to construct and shoot. From concept to execution is about 30 minutes. They are precarious and impermanent constructions.
