Some of the great team is on Bluesky! cagricevrim.bsky.social@berylbiologist.bsky.social 👏 💪

Together with the preprint, we are releasing 22 image datasets capturing the full course of leg regeneration. This is foundational work for our research on regeneration, supported by the European Union ERC and France ANR. A multi-year collaboration with a great team! 3/3 zenodo.org/records/1370...

Our latest preprint describes how. Cagri and Béryl optimised live imaging, allowing the full sequence of leg regeneration to be recorded. Tools by Ko allow us to track cells. In situ method by Lorenza and Alba allows a peek at gene expression in the end. 2/3 www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1...

Can we observe how the injured leg of an animal is regenerated? We have figured out how to do this in the crustacean Parhyale. Over the course of a week, we can record the entire process of regeneration at cell-by-cell resolution. 1/3 vimeo.com/802413847

Looking for a membrane localisation tag? unclear what will work in your spp? We gathered 10 tags (diff mechanisms of memb localisation) + fused them with red FP. Interested in joining us for a comparative screen? We'll share plasmids for making mRNA, you can inject in your favourite model. #evodevo

Does regeneration re-use developmental gene regulatory networks? PhD fellowship in experimental and computational biology, in our team, supervised by Mathilde Paris. Use single-cell omics to reconstruct and compare GRNs underpinning leg development and regeneration. www.averof-lab.org/pages/replay

Only 2 weeks left to apply – great opportunity if you're interested to explore cell diversity; discover unknown cell types in new species; receive expert training in 3D electron microscopy, molecular cell biology and genetics; participate in exciting network of PhD students
