I once had a very funny and charming boss - I still use a couple of his lines. But I eventually realized (too late) that if anyone else got a laugh he had to get one too ASAP. It’s a good red flag to look out for.
I think a lot of the fallout from the other site has shown us that no matter how rich or famous a man might be, he will never be happy until lots of people think he is funny.

I think part of this is people really really do not understand how long and hard it is to recover from disaster. They expect magical overnight change and that's not possible.
