The reason we so often donāt have a tripod is because social almost always gets put at the very last spot on a carpet which gives us no space, 100% squished. Often weāre the voice of the film/show/studio as the official handles and talent are tired by end of the carpet, theyāll walk right past us. šŖ
In other news teared up watching this TikTok because if talent/filmmakers on a red carpet or at an event ever did this for me I would be so thankful.š„¹ I am always juggling my phone, microphone, questions to ask written out, trying to film as steadily as I can sans tripod. www.tiktok.com/t/ZTF5D4bCb/

Itās GREAT. Lots of well researched film history and context.
Yeah that stuff makes it so much easier! Trader Joeās has some great stuff too. I swear by seitan, I have become a gym girl in the past year so need to hit a certain amount of protein and that stuff is so versatile and great for marinading. And now I can just buy it prepackaged at my local grocery.
This was me w/ my parents only it was back in 08. The town they live in is 9k people, nearest Whole Foods is a 35 min drive, options were far less than we have now so in retrospect I have no idea how I did it. Took them a bit but I think my first veg thanksgiving really helped make it real for them.
The new Every Fame a Painting Video on Billy Wilder is a must-watch. You can feel the love and reverence for cinema that Tony & Taylor have, their video essays are essential viewing for anyone who aspires to work in film. I used to watch their Lynne Ramsay video religiously. youtu.be/X_aYXYUT5l8?...

Particularly when it is a younger demographic lining up to engageā¦ let them participate however they want. The way in which we keep the culture alive may change but so long as it is continuing a love for and seeking out of cinema, I canāt be mad about it.
