This could be good for some of those older more experienced TAs. They will have empathy and knowledge about the children in their care. It could be a great step to acknowledge and develop this but if you have trained to level 5, you should be paid as level 5. Will the money be there for that?

Potentially, but I can’t imagine the money would be there, unless it becomes a prerequisite for HTLA type roles in those schools which use them.
