i’d like to be conference secret shopper … like i go to your conference and you pay me to tell you what i didn’t like about it. (no shade to the one i’m at this week … just a general observation of my overall critical mood at conferences.)
i’d like to challenge any marketing conference speaker to just come out and say they hate ai. because we don’t have to like it simply because it’s being shoved down our throats by companies that value money over humanity and creativity.
roxy has been asking to go to bed early for days ... but i'm sitting at my desk tonight (because the tv wasn't working and i was staring at my router) instead of on the couch and she's happily sleeping under it. she continues to be a tiny weirdo.
also, i wish conferences sent out a list of attendees beforehand so i know if there is anyone i want to avoid. or meet. but mostly avoid.
i'm going to a conference tomorrow and friday in the city and i'm so not in the mood for being pseudo-social ... so, if you are at socialeast, please say hi, because chances are i'll be hiding behind my phone disassociating ... but i'll totally happily chat if someone else initiates it! ;P

same thing happened as our last straw … spent $$$ on an elixir to help with one problem only for her to have an awful reaction. i googled and it shouldn’t be given when there’s a heart issue. they gave it to the dog who almost died on the operating table from a heart murmur. i was done.
yes! i got there with old vet, but it was from a place of frustration ... and it felt like i was overreacting or something. interestingly, roxy's reverse sneezing is all but gone since she started on the vetmedin ... which has baffled the vet a bit but we aren't complaining!
it's honestly such a relief to feel heard. and that i can ask her things without feeling like i'm being ridiculous or overreacting.
