I don’t know. If they can mop up the torrential rain that is currently falling in London then it looks like being a dry evening. What is the ‘cut off’ time? They might get 20 overs a side?

I’m more sympathetic towards language changing that I was as a young man. But the problem for me is when there is a word that means a specific thing. When that word gets used to mean something else then we don’t have a word that means what it used to mean. Eg “disinterested”.
