🦊 we did it! I’ve dreamed about this since we were little, if I was a girl I’d be pretty and social and have lots of friends, and we are getting there! I’m so proud of you Maeve for being willing to talk to others and make the friends you have, we’re all tired of being lonely and friendless

🐶 absolutely gonna have a hard time keeping this mindset, but it’s worth it to believe in ourselves, even if only sporadically

🐶 I don’t need to be able to work to be worthy I don’t need to have a degree to be worthy I don’t need to have kids to be worthy I don’t need to be neurotypical to be worthy I don’t need to hide my needs and do whatever others want me to do to be worthy I am worthy as I am

🐶 there are still areas I will struggle and falter, but that doesn’t mean I can’t try But I also need to learn to not give space in our head for others expectations of me, those don’t matter

🐶 cuz like, I AM a girl, and I’ve learned so much I can’t just say “if that was me I’d _” anymore, cuz that is me Like yes, I’m not just a girl, there’s more to my gender than that, but it is part of me, I wanna live the life I want to instead of just making irrelevant excuses

🐶 allegedly I’ve gotten a lot better with connecting with others and making friends, which Kit is really proud of us for It was always “if I was a girl I’d have lots of friends and be good with people” and hearing that affirmed from the therapists was so damn sweet
