Apparently, the ideal age the Republicans want to achieve is the late Victorian, with work houses and starving urchins begging on streets. Next we’ll be back in the era of 1800s English “public” schools and an uneducated working class.
NEW: Tucked away in the Republican Study Committee's 2025 budget is a provision to ban universal free school meals. The 170+ Republican member group also calls to eliminate the NLRB & the CFPB, defund OSHA & the EPA, raise the retirement age, outlaw abortion pills & limit IVF access, and much more:
