The sudden realization after moving to bluesky is that we've been conditioned and even expected to act like radicalized lunatics on Twitter, that when we see people acting civil here, it felt weird.

I left twitter shortly after musk bought it and never looked back. I'm glad everyone else is starting to leave too and realizing how much better things can be. Even before musk, twitter was always a downgrade from pre-porn ban tumblr. It was just so toxic.

not to mention the lack of algorithm, everything feels so much more personalized here. The mutuals feed is an absolute game changer too, finally easy to keep up with specific people without it being in a sea of others you follow.

Screw X. Never cared for that place. 2000+ tweets and could never grab any engagement because I don't post hatred. Come here and I already feel happier reading the posts, and the community actually engages back to things that aren't drama and hatred.
