The stance, I believe, is: “Either way, this system will cause harm. I cannot take part in this system. I know that won’t prevent the system from causing the harm. And yet…” Maybe that’s a myopic approach, but I can’t imagine how hard it must be for some people more closely affected.
I’m sorry, Nicholas, but I genuinely don’t think that’s anyone’s argument. Yes, I believe that Trump being *far worse* for Palestinians is a persuasive reason to vote Harris. But I also believe that those with principled misgivings on this issue also know that, and have already weighed that in.
