The average american adults spends about 30 minutes a day outside. Half of americans are under that. Many are at zero! You see the effects of this when you go somewhere mass market like a state fair, and it's outside 67 to 74 degrees. Folks are dropping like flies. Medical emergencies everywhere.

If you go to an mlb baseball game and it's 80 degrees, I can pretty much guarantee you'll see someone leaving in a stretcher due to heat exhaustion. If it's below ~55 degrees, there will be like 10K fans there. Too cold, evidently.
