What we have to face up to is that Elon Musk has carefully and deliberately crafted an image of the Wizard of Oz, a sly, crafty ninja behind a secretive curtain playing 3 dimensional chess, and he's just a smug, smirking, Afrikaner troll with a lot of money who wants MORE tax cuts for billionaires.

True. The point I was making is that running for any "eligible" office isn't really necessary, because Trump would "install" him in a position where he could do the most damage, like Louis DeJoy in the post office. Biden CANNOT fire him. Trump KNEW that when he INSTALLED him.
You know how this STARTED, right? Elizabeth Warren said "We need to tax Musk & Bezos at the same rate as working Americans." He lost his mind, attacked her on Twitter, called her a "Tax Karen," and a month and a half later he owned Twitter so he could poison voters against Dems.
He can do PLENTY of damage WITHOUT holding elected office. TRUMP wants him. TRUMP was THRILLED with how Musk went to Twitter and laid off most of the staff. TRUMP wants Musk to "audit" government offices and employees so he can kill off all but Trump loyalists performing mission critical tasks.
I "used to" own a MAMMOTH physical music collection. Systematically, I rebuilt it ALL as digital (I own around 6000 albums at last count). Part of me misses the album art and tangible aspect of it. The bigger part of me is happy with top quality digital music in FLAC and WAV format.
I have a "read only" account on Twitter under a fake name. I replied to Musk and tagged the FBI and Secret Service and minced no words when it came to telling him what I think of him. He thinks he IS Trump, that he can say whatever he wants with zero consequences. He's delusional and sick.
It'll grow on you. Sort of like enjoying the absence of mosquitos. Much more peaceful here, a lot of great art and photography and nature photos. Hope you enjoy it.
What I think I appreciate most about "Earth" is that since its release in 1951, there have been a BAZILLION MORE sci-fi movies, many with multi-million dollar budgets and CGI screen special effects, and "Earth" STILL stands as one of the greatest films ever made.
