Rejoining will not happen if the movement ignores/does not address the privatisation of pretty much the whole country by private corporations. This is starting to take place right now and will scupper our chances of rejoining. @europeanpowell.bsky.social and his team have been alerting us for ages.

Define rejoin

I do wish people would stop using the term 'Rejoin' as this is incorrect and misleading. Should the UK join the EU, it will be on much less favourable terms as it's previous membership, including adoption of the Euro. Still of course better than the present shitshow?

What's your feeling about a path back to membership? I think it's vlear that buyers remorse has set in but that doesn't necessarily translate to enthusiasm amongst voters or courage in politicians.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a more extensive poll on (starting to) Rejoin the EU. You know, the kind of poll where everyone gets a chance to vote. Here’s an idea, let’s call it a second referendum. After all, we now have practical experience and know what we are voting for and what were just lies.

Alas; as there NEVER was a popular call for the UK to leave the EU, polls are less than useless. - Time to think big, much bigger than polls.

Yet nearly 40% are either too stupid to see the damage Brexit caused, or too bigoted to allow closer ties with the EU. 🤦

There seems to be a lot of gaslighting around. Truth twisters would have us believe the longer we leave it before applying, the easier it'll be and that Starmer can achieve closer alignment by letting us diverge. Making Brexit work means worse, incompatible trade deals with the rest of the world.
