The free for all, free market economic culture has caused fucking chaos on road and rail; not to mention health care and nhs privatisation. Until government and their institutions start caring about people over profit things will continue to get even worse for the many. #paymoregetless 😳
I think this is good but there needs to be money behind it to enable routes to be brought back. The GM scheme relies on a lot of subsidy anticipating a growth in use. If that doesn’t come, councils cannot afford to prop up services and we could have a worse position than now.

Is there any truth that Labour is considering ending Post 68 (60 in London) Bus passes as part of this or separately , possibly to help fund this?
