Over 2500 Pink-footed Geese flew over Hunmanby Gap on a beautiful bright Sunday morning. Other birding highlights were 11 Teal, 25 Oystercatcher, Curlew, 5 Sanderling & a single Swallow over @milliesmum.bsky.social
Really nice to start the day with @jpmkenny.bsky.social and millie as we headed to hunmanby gap before heading to work ..the gentle sound of trickling water and watching the beautiful oystercatchers flying around ..what a beautiful bird ..a lovely start to the day ❤️
It felt like Summer at the Gap today. Can't beat a spot of beachcombing and birding, especially in the company of @milliesmum.bsky.social and Millie. Birding highlights from a couple of visits include over 1200 Pinkfeet over, Arctic and Great Skua, Marsh Harrier, Stonechat and 2 Rock Pipits.
