And mind you the feeling of RSD can stem from failure as well. As such it’s likely possible that she does experience it to some extent.

And in this one. To me with her hand not holding the fan, leads to think me that she either hiding her stims or suppressing them.

Leading me to believe that the fan might be a comfort item for Shiver. Which leads into stimming. If you look very closely when she is in that pose in game you will notice that her fan is shaking a bit. She also partially covers her mouth with the same fan when shocked or mad.

Another thing that I have noticed is that we practically never see Shiver WITHOUT her fan. In her boss fight, the splatcast, the concerts, hell while she didn’t have it during the three wishes performance she had it during the first half of the grandfest.

The Frosty Fest announcement brought this exchange. It is very clear that she had been planning this for a while. And while she didn’t show it during the results, internally she must’ve been crushed to spend that holiday alone.

In the Zelda splatfest announcement Shiver makes a comment on how in touch Frye is with her strengths and weaknesses along with confidence. Implying self esteem issues stating that she’s jealous. RSD can cause low self esteem
