It generally seems far calmer and less hysterical here than on Twitter, from what I've seen. Granted, it might just be that there are fewer people.

No idea. I just remember they sent my sister's letter back with a notice that it wouldn't fit through the machine (I guess it presses the letters?) And someone could have been injured if the machinery had broken.
