I'm a (mostly) retired high school computer technology teacher making beginner microcontroller and robot circuits at mirobo.tech My newest projects are BEAPER Nano, BEAPER Pico, and ARPS. T

Two 3D-printed BEAPER Bot robots controlled by Arduino Nano ESP32 microcontrollers installed in BEAPER Nano PCBs. The yellow robot (left) is set up in a rear-drive configuration and has an optional LCD installed. The blue robot (right) is set up in a front-drive configuration. Both robots have dual optical floor sensors and a SONAR module installed.
A white 3D-printed BEAPER Bot robot controlled by a BEAPER Pico circuit with an on-board Raspberry Pi Pico W and optional graphical LCD. The robot is built in a front-drive configuration and has two optical floor sensors and a SONAR module installed.
Top view of a fully-populated BEAPER Pico, a beginner education circuit for Raspberry Pi Pico, running a block breaker game on its on-board LCD display. This BEAPER Pico contains (left to right) an ambient light sensor, two user potentiometers, a voltage regulator circuit, a Raspberry Pi Pico W microcontroller, an LCD display, level shifter and motor driver ICs (under the display), a piezo speaker, four user LEDs, four pushbuttons, and four servo connectors. At the very top of the PCB is an I2C QWIIC connector and a 4-pin digital I/O header. The green screw terminal strip at the bottom connects to a battery and motors.
An ARPS circuit attached to an Arduino UNO. ARPS includes four pushbuttons, four LEDs, a piezo speaker, a temperature sensor, an IR demodulator, a motor driver IC, and two break-away optical floor sensor modules (right). Digital I/O expansion pins at the right side of ARPS can hold a SONAR module.
