I discussed this this morning here on Bluesky within the German board game bubble. Also on my WhatsApp channel, but unfortunately I can't show the discussion here... Unfortunately, many of the German creators do not position themselves as clearly as many from the English bubble.

Guten Morgen ihr Lieben, da es in meiner amerikanischen/englischen Bubble gerade sehr hart diskutiert wird und die ersten Reviewer ganz klar aussagen: "Ich rezensiere keine Spiele, in denen KI verwendet wird", möchte ich gerne eure Meinung dazu hören. Wie steht ihr zu KI Nutzung in #Brettspielen?

I so wish that were true but equally quite a few anglophone reviewers seem to not give a hoot, including some big names!

Well, there is so much going on, so much to disentangle, that positioning is not as easy as it might seem. I neither believe in the "AI = evil" narrative nor in the "AI = solution." We have to find ways to work WITH the tools we have.
