We have two bank holidays in Scotland which are never acknowledged and a majority of employers don't give people the time off for it. One is the 2nd January the other is St Andrews Day. Only Scottish civil servants working for the Scottish government get these holidays.

I feel like it would genuinely help both nations if they had different days off for different reasons! Like, absolutely you should get both those days off! One of them should be a time to celebrate something Scottish!
