There's a daddy long-legs in my kitchen.
It's an Oleander 🙂 They grow a lot in Spain (many in Autovias central reservations). My sister lived there and had some. Of course we took cuttings and they grew successfully here (in the south east). I now have seed pods to plant when I have my own garden again 🙂
No I wasn't. I was there working for a large American corporation!

When I learnt French at school, I always struggled with the numbers. When I lived in Paris, I practised using car number plates as I walked along. It worked so well, I regularly think of numbers in French instead of English 24 years after I moved back to the UK.
It's oh so quiet.... This place feels like a sanctuary of peace and calm. Long may it continue. I'm still over there though and shall no doubt be getting pissed off on a regular basis.
