This reminds me of during the pandemic lockdown when some outlet put out a map showing the areas of the country where people were still traveling more than 2 miles from their homes, including all the rural areas. The comments were all “look at these stupid rubes”. And I had to go in like..
Love that! We are also a restaurant industry family (not WaHo), but also I grew up with the Waffle House as a regular stop for my family both in South Georgia where we lived and all through Florida as we traveled around. Then as the regular late-night stop in high school and college. 💕
That is horrible and I’m glad they don’t do that anymore. I should’ve been more specific—I was just fangirling about coming across a (former?)Waffle House employee!
