Until certain sections of the community take responsibility for their own and their childrens' education and foster ambition for social mobility, nothing will change. In fact it will only get worse given school absence rates since Covid.

I live very near this PS - clearly visible from our home. One day driving along the road my then five year old grandson announced: "wow, so that's how clouds are made", as steam rose from the cooling towers. We'll miss our cloud maker 😢
