I would sincerely like to know if these obviously empty suits - it’s insane from outside this VC landstrum that people can’t see them as straight up charlatans - drive Silicon Valley or they are simply SV’s inevitable Frankensteins

I personally have experienced the mental illness that excess fortunes breeds. Few maintain balance, most become at least near-monsters. There is nothing different about these people than the last generations of media tycoons. But Silicon Valley’s output is far, far more corrosive and impactful
