torn between 'i want this comic to be finished someday, so i'm just going to leave the old pages as-is and continue forward without delay' and 'i want this comic to be the best i've done, so i have to redo the pages so they're not sucky!'

I understand the urge, but imo done is always better than perfect! If you finish then you can still always go back and touch things up later, but crossing the finish line is what I personally root for 🎉
