Yeah, I'm keeping my things as far away from unknown surfaces as possible. Plus ADHD makes that a good way to lose stuff.

I will make my travel plans and flights to specifically have time to do this before I start my activities

I use the ironing board as a clothes rack

It’s pretty easy to bring back bedbugs in a suitcase, which is why I generally store mine in the bathtub or bathroom rather than put it near soft things

Check for bedbugs before you do any of that.

I unpack a bit carelessly but at least I put things away. My husband unpacks by creating a tangled mound on the floor.
