Yes, I have a rather general approach, & also I supervise people from different disciplines where the expectations and trajectories are variable If people do have a mentoring guide I'd be interested to see if our team can improve our ways

Yes! Our mentoring plan is really about guiding people to figure out what / who they need and then using our networks as senior people to connect them with those appropriate people. And continuing to meet/ discuss/ update and connect every year, if not more often, as goals and needs change.

I think guides like that are much more common on the bio/epi side of things than in the social sciences.
