I don't think we need to extend much grace to an opinion writer who pre-wrote his (admittedly predictable for him) opinion on a time-defined event. Nor the editorial staff that allowed him to be so blatant about it.
Exactly. That extremely well-written, edited, and detailed obituary for Kris Kristofferson that was out hours after his passing is one thing... this is not that.
