Yeah, what Ben said. It wouldn't actually impact the actual price if the deal went through. It would just mean that the company had less cash in its bank account when Elon took over (the amount he was short, so it evens out) But it creates massive risk if the deal fails.
That's funny. When my dad gave me $300 cash when I bought my 1st house we had to sign 2 notarized documents saying it was a gift & I didn't have to pay it back... but MILLIONS of dollars to buy a multi-billion dollar company... No biggie.
Post sale Twitter is worth $400M less than presale Twitter.
