Old enough to remember Republicans saying that Democrats needed to "turn down the hateful rhetoric" or they were guilty of any violence that ensued.
Old enough to remember Trump calling for 2nd Amendment people to make their own solutions on National TV.

Seems like every time a Republican says something about a Democrat, given a long enough time horizon the reverse will end up being true.
I remember just a few years ago Trump saying "They eat the cats, they eat the dogs...they eat the pets". Seems incredible when you think all the way back to that news cycle.
